In ordeR TO CREATE THIS IMAGE, I FIRSTAT UPPED THE CONTRAST ON THE ORIGIONAL PHOTO AND MADE THE PICTURE MORE VIBRANT SO THAT THE PEDALS ON THE CURB WOULD SHOW UP NICE AND BRIGHT. THEN I ADDED TEXT TO THE IMMAGE. THE TEXT SAYS " GO OUT AND GET LIFE. BECAUSE IF YOU WAI FOR IT TO COME TO YOU, YOU WILL GET NOWHERE." I CHOOSE THIS QUOTE BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY FITTING BECAUSE IT IS A QUOTE ABOUT LIFE AND A JOURNEY AND THE PICTURE IS REPRESENTATIVE OF A JOURNEY BECAUSE IT IS OF A ROAD. I AM REALLY HAPPY WITH THE FINAL OUTCOME OF THIS PICTURE. I THINK EVERYTHING FITS TOGETHR VERY WELL. ONE THIN I HAD TROUBLE WITH WAS MAKING THE TEXT GET SMALLER AS IT GOES DEEPIR INTO THE PHOTO TO CREATE DEPTH. BUT ONE I FINALLY GOT THAT I REALLY LIKE THE TURN OUT.Thursday, May 27, 2010

Surrealism
This is so surreal.HAHA
In order to create this photo, i used a lot of clone stamps and and layer masks. The peacock at the top and the Cigarettes at the bottom and the piano keys on the road are all layermasks. Where as the flower and harry's face and the sun above his face are all clone stamps. Other than adding layermasks adn the clone stamps, there wasn't much editing that i had to do. The one thing i did edit was the contrast.
This assignment was a pretty tricky one for me. I like to show things as the look in reality, and not so much what something would look like in a dream. But the techniques, after i got them down, were not too difficult for me. The reason i chose the pictures to mix together was because none of them really had anything to do with eachother. They are all so random, which is exactly like a lot of my dreams. Most of the things in my dreams never have anything in common, so that is why i chose to use pictures taht really make to sence for them to be together.

Filter
To create this masterpiece, I first enhanced it by brightening the photo. Then to make the filter, I first selected my brother, Hunter. Then to make it so that the background was the object to get the filter, I clicked inverse, which selected the background. Then unter the filter tools, and choose artistic setting and chose the cutout selection. My feelings to this photo are positive. I like that the background looks kidna like it was painted.. it makes Hunter look more real. I really didn't have many difficulties.

This picutre is the picture using vignetting! to create the vignetting, I made a selection box around the picture, and then to make the vignetting,i chose the vignetting setting and IT DID ITS MAGIC!i had some difficulty getting the vignetting to start at the point i wanted it to start at and i wan't sure if i like how dark the vignetting made the picture feel. But over all i think that it was a fairly sucessful job, and in the end i really like this photo, even though it is a little darker then I would prefer.
Composit
This is the first assignment out of the composit pictures. to creat this image, i draged a picture of a flower over a picture of a building and a sun. To make the picture of the flower, which is ontop of the other photo, transparent, i made a mask and then used the blending tool of defference to create the two seperate colors. I really like how this turned ouy. I love the way the sun shines through the colors that the flower turned out to be, and how you see the out line of the building and the red color of the flower, and where the sky is you see the blue sky! Something that was a little difficult was getting the colors that i wanted and having the flower transparent enough to see the building in the background... but it wasn't too big of a road block and I ended up figuring it out and really liking the outcome.

This picture was made on photoshop but selecting the sections and adding the color we want to add according to the color scheme. In the upper left conner, the color scheme i used was complimentary colors. In the upper right was used with a monochromatic color scheme. adn for the bottom left, i used a triadic color scheme and for the bottom right picture, i had a analogous sheme going on. One frustration i had while doing this project was trying to get the selections perfect. it was hard to get every strand and everything right, BUT after i finally got it... IT WENT WELL!

To create this image, I used direct studio light, with the light hitting ¾ of the models face. I really enjoy this photo because I caught it when he was off gaurd. Before I got this shot, Harry was acting a little camera shy and not acting much like himself. When I shot this picture, it was right befor he was about to laugh, which is a perfect describtor of Harry because he is always laughing! I also love the color tone of this picture, I like how this has a yellow tint to it without any kind of editing. I thought that it was a great picture because I didn't much of any editing on this photo.

I also like it because it reminds me of summer, no worries, fun times, laughs, smiles, and sun you get while enjoying summer.
